This course provides an intensive study of the psychological, cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children and youth from conception through early childhood until the end of adolescence. Psychological concepts, theories and research will be examined in relation to development. In some instances, abnormal development and behaviour will be contrasted with normal patterns.
